Insurance said YES!..so I said YES!
In all honesty, I wanted to get my Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T When I bought this- but insurance still said no to that unfortunately.
This was also at a time when what we consider JDM legends today, weren't at unobtainium prices like they are now.
All the Toyota JZ Chassis's and Nissan Skylines were sat around the same price of about £5-£10k - Nissan S bodies could occasionally be had for sub £4k - but the rise was definitely beginning when I got into this, so timed it well.
Skyline GTR's and Twin Turbo Manual Supras were already in the 12-30k area for reference!
I Loved this car- You will see a full review of ownership in a future post too..its no accident I'm back in a Toyota Soarer again!
Spec List
Since I imported this from Japan, I didnt really have much to go off of apart from what was translated to english in the Japanese for sale advert and then furthermore checking over it when it finally arrived here at my place!
I heard stories at the time of dock workers stealing various easy to get and remove parts from the cars or people selling them swapping parts out last minute if they knew the car was going abroad, so I was relieved that it arrived pretty much as described!
The car overall was pretty stock with just the right bits done, so it was super reliable and dependable, sounded great, drove great, looked great!

This was such a great all round car, I did wonder if I was doing the right thing at the time I sold it, but I could see where JDM car prices were going and it was a "now or never" time to get into a Skyline - This was a hard goodbye, and my first JDM Legend!
In hindsight, I thiunk it was one of the rarest models and most sort after models too being a Factory Manual Sunroof 1JZ Toyota Soarer
