At The time I bought this, as a bright eyed-bushy tailed 17 year old with my parents, I was the second owner after buying it off a lovely old couple who had it from new in 1989

The other car that was on my radar was a Ford Capri 1.6 Laser, but they were thin on the ground or very rotten or needed a lot of work done whenever I saw them pop up.

With quite literally a full service history and invoices for everything, from major services to receipts for light bulbs and everything in between - This old 1989 "clunker" was cleaner and more honest than a lot of my friends more current and modern cars from the late 90's and early 2000's!
